Adopted Horses

This Is Our Why

Here you can find the wonderful tales of our adopters and their horses from ASAP. *Under Construction*

Scarlet Lite

Scarlet has been adopted by Ray & Alice Hubert, who have adopted multiple ASAP horses. She now lives happily on Hubert’s Happi Times Farm.

Rhyma Rose

The Daniels family in Salem, IL adopted Rhyma Rose at a young age from ASAP. Rhyma turned blind at about 3 years old, but that didn’t stop this family from loving her. Rhyma is still going on trail rides and demonstrating for ASAP.

Ari

Ari was adopted by EmmaRae Lubinski. EmmaRae started coming out to ASAP years ago and left with a loving companion. Ari has been a wonderful dressage, pleasure, and jumping horse.

Walk This Way

Walk This Way, aka Kirkland, was adopted by EmmaRae Lubinski in 2024. He had about a year to just be a horse and is now starting his riding career. EmmaRae says he has been amazing and easy to train. He loves to learn and is eager to please. EmmaRae is looking forward to the future with Kirkland.

Queenie

Queenie was rescued from a kill pen in 2023. After being nursed back to health, she was trained to ride and is now in her new home with her adopter Kay.

Chiricahua

“Chitty” came to ASAP having been a former race horse, barrel and pole horse. He was a national barrel racing finalist. He has since been adopted by Rachel Wellman. Together, they trail ride and barrel race.

Audition

Audition or “Audi” was adopted by Cherie Johnson. Audi won the Kentucky Sire Stakes in his previous racing career, winning $150,000 in one race. He is now used as a therapy horse, pleasure horse, and an ASAP representative.

Butterscotch

Butterscotch is a pony adopted out of ASAP to Cindy Ellefson. Cindy calls him “Fabio” for his charming personality and beauty. Butterscotch has helped at a number of ASAP events by offering free pony rides to children.

Shaggy

Shaggy was a misfit no one seemed to understand at the farm. Until, our volunteer Amber came to break the mold. Their bond is inseparable. Shaggy whinnies as soon as she sees Amber’s car pull up. They are currently at a different stable now and still best friends.
